A professional and loving family in Bondi Beach are seeking an energetic, caring, and organised nanny to assist with the household and care for their 4 year old daughter and 7 years old son.
The ideal candidate will manage school pickups, transport to after-school activities, supervise, carry out meal preparation, and various household duties. This position is suited for someone who is organised, enjoys engaging with children, and can adapt to varying schedules according to the school calendar.
Reliability, excellent communication skills, and professionalism are also valued.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- Safely pick children up from school and transport them to and from after school activities
- Supervise and engage the children in age-appropriate activities
- Prepare nutritious dinners and pack school lunches for the following day
- Conduct light housekeeping duties including washing, ironing, dishwashing, and general tidying up
- Provide full-time care during school holidays, including daily activities
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: Permanent / long term
Pay: $35 – $45 per hour depending on experience (employed on a contract basis)
Note: Full driver’s licence (no provisional), good driving record, and own reliable vehicle required
The days and normal hours are – 5 days per week – 30 hours per week (additional hours offered in the school holidays)
Monday to Friday 1pm – 7pm during school term and
8am – 7pm in the school holidays
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny or childcare experience
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Possess a warm, caring, and patient personality with strong communication skills
- Have a full driver’s licence (no provisional licences), a good driving record and reliable transport (own vehicle)
- Be confident with personal cooking skills
